Invisalign and you
Invisalign is a series of clear aligners. Invisalign aligners are removable, so it’s easier to clean your teeth and maintain your oral health during treatment. Unlike traditional braces, there are no metal brackets and wires getting in the way of flossing and brushing.
Your first consultation
Choosing Invisalign treatment is an important dental and financial decision, so it’s essential that you find the right dentist for you. At your initial consultation, your dentist will discuss your needs and evaluate whether Invisalign treatment is right for you.
Your custom treatment plan
Your dentist will take photographs in and out of the mouth and take impressions of your teeth. Then your doctor will map out a precise treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth and how long your treatment will be. You’ll even get to see how your teeth will move and preview your new smile.
Your Invisalign clear aligners
Many patients start to see improvements in their smile within just a few months. Unlike metal braces, most people won’t know you’re going through orthodontic treatment when you’re wearing your custom made Invisalign clear aligners because they are virtually invisible!
Wear your Invisalign clear aligners 20 to 22 hours a day for the best results, taking them out to eat and to brush and floss.
Your progress
As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually shift into place. Our dentists recommend that you begin wearing a new set of aligners every second week and schedule check-ups every six weeks to track your progress and issue you with your next sets of aligners.
Taking care of your new smile
When your treatment is complete, ask our dentists about a Vivera® retainer. Vivera retainers are custom-made using the same state-of-the-art technology as Invisalign clear aligners.

We are preferred providers for the following health funds. As a preferred provider you will be entitled to the maximum allowable benefit from your health fund for all services at our practice.
Whilst we are preferred providers for the above health funds, we accept all health funds and are able to claim on the day if the patient brings their health insurance card. We also accept Department of Veteran Affairs & Medicare patients who can also claim on the day if they present the relevant cards.
