COVID-19 and our Practice
Dental Esthetique – Update August 15 2022
At Dental Esthetique we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff and patients.
We appreciate our patient and community supporting the requirement for continuing to wear masks when attending our practice. We have also been very appreciative of the increase in communication from patients towards isolation and illness and continue to ask that patients and families continue to update by email or telephone if they are unable to attend their appointments. This allows us to offer these appointments to other patients and we can also help you reschedule when you have recovered.

What are we doing as a practice?
We have implemented a number of precautionary measures that go above and beyond our accreditation requirements and industry standards over the past few months and have decided to continue practicing these measures until further notice. These include:
- in surgery air purification
- triaging patients before their appointments
- hand sanitizer upon arrival and departure
- removal of toys/magazines and cleaning of waiting area in-between patients
- pre-treatment antimicrobial rinse
- staggering of patient appointments to reduce patient cross over

What treatments are now available?
Level 1 restrictions allow dental to operate pretty much as normal, so we can do anything from attend to a toothache that has been bothering you, through to your regular checkup and clean, as well as our range of cosmetic treatments and teeth whitening.
Making a booking
We recommend attempting to make a booking via our online system first, as this will provide instant confirmation of your appointment. Rest assured if you are unable to find an appointment time that is suitable with your preferred dentist, or if you have an urgent need, you can contact our reception team via phone on 9381 3791 and we will do our best to find a suitable appointment time.
New Patients
We have been contacted by many people who are looking for a new dentist at this time. We have added a new dentist and our existing team have added extra times to assist you. If you have any questions regarding our practice you would like to ask before booking please give us a call at the surgery.
PREFERRED PROVIDERS
We are preferred providers for the following health funds. As a preferred provider you will be entitled to the maximum allowable benefit from your health fund for all services at our practice.
Whilst we are preferred providers for the above health funds, we accept all health funds and are able to claim on the day if the patient brings their health insurance card. We also accept Department of Veteran Affairs & Medicare patients who can also claim on the day if they present the relevant cards.
