Convenient Location
All dental visits will be at our conveniently located Subiaco dental practice.
Dentally Fit
Patients must be deemed dentally fit by our dentists to receive this whitening offer. There are dental conditions which are not suitable to deliver whitening treatment and your dentist can advise of these.
Up to Three Shades Whiter
Everyone’s results are a little different however we believe patients can often find their teeth are up to three shades whiter after treatment.

During your exam, scale and clean our dentist will discuss your situation and everything involved with safe and effective teeth whitening. You will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have at this time.
No Gap
Means that there will be no additional balance of payment after any health insurance benefit is received from your health fund. All health funds rebate different amounts for this service and Dental Esthtique will cover whatever balance is remaining – if your health fund does not cover teeth whitening there will still be no charge to you.

About Teeth Whitening

Why do teeth discolour?

Everyone’s teeth are unique and discolour and stain in different ways. The discolouration or staining of a person’s tooth is typically caused by:

Coffee.
Black tea.
Herbal tea.
Red wine.
Spicy foods such as curry.
Smoking cigarettes and cigars.

How does tooth whitening work?

There are multiple types of tooth whitening solutions available. There are essentially three categories that these fit into including pharmacy available products, Take Home (from dentist) packages and In-dentist clinic applied solutions.

When a whitening product is applied to the tooth, it breaks down into water and oxygen ions. The oxygen ions enter the enamel and attack the long stain molecules to effectively break them down to be short and colourless. These short and colourless molecules are then naturally removed from the tooth by saliva. The intensity of whitening is related to the number of oxygen ions available and the length of time they are on the tooth.

We are preferred providers for the following health funds. As a preferred provider you will be entitled to the maximum allowable benefit from your health fund for all services at our practice.

Whilst we are preferred providers for the above health funds, we accept all health funds and are able to claim on the day if the patient brings their health insurance card. We also accept Department of Veteran Affairs & Medicare patients who can also claim on the day if they present the relevant cards.
